James Howard Kunstler →
It’s fascinating to follow the coverage of Michael Jackson’s death, but especially the lavish tributes to his “genius” and general wonderfulness. He was, in fact, a monster, and an apt reflection of America’s extreme collective cultural confusion. He was a distillation of the lies America tells itself. He was infantile, grandiose, horrifying, and probably dangerous....

Wally watches “Little Einsteins”
So…your baby and cat like to get together and watch trippy shit like this? This afternoon is gonna rock!
Yes. The issue is that Wally stands in front of the TV blocking Brady’s view.
So he’s missing the key components that make it a development tool, and really all it’s doing is making him...

Study Says People Dissatisfied with Netbooks →
Interesting… Although…
The study also dives into why people were dissatisfied, and this is where the cat comes out of the bag. As it turns out, people were expecting netbooks to deliver the same kind of performance and functionality as a normal notebook does. Consequently, they are dissatisfied when they discover that a netbook simply doesn’t deliver.

For those who have S-Band receive capability the Lunar Recon. Orbiter can be heard at 2271.190Mhz+/- doppler. It is a carrier and best found with a DSP audio spectrum program or an SDR. I found the signal to be in excess of 10db over the noise with a 80cm offset feed dish and LNA. I found it slightly below and behind the path of the sun today. It is about 1/2 way to the moon.
Very Cool. (via...

This is disgraceful! Was this woman the head of a multinational music piracy ring, I don’t think so! $80,000 a song is ludicrous how can it be justified!
Because she flat out lied to the Jury. Don’t expect sympathy from people you lie to.
